This site is a collective research notebook for the Birmingham Centre for Modern and Contemporary History. It will contain posts on research by members of the Centre, details of workshops and other events that we’re holding, and more general stuff about things we’re interested in—books, films, or current affairs. It is currently coordinated by the Director of the Centre, Dr. Simon Jackson, with support from Rose Parkinson, and previously by Dr Benjamin Thomas White and Dr Su-Lin Lewis.
